A factory reset will revert all settings on the device back to factory defaults, so if you have settings you want to remember, make sure they are documented somewhere!
Before performing a factory reset, remove all cables and drives from the Videon device, leaving only Ethernet and power plugged in.
To perform a factory reset:
- Unplug power from the Videon device
- Hold down the front button while plugging power back in
- Continue to hold the front button until the front LED(s) blinks
- Release the front button and wait for the device to finish booting
